Having consent cards empowers your student to communicate in a safe way, when they are comfortable with hands on assistance, and when they aren’t. Which can change from day to day, and minute to minute. We all have those days where we feel open to receive, and when we are more internal.
Perhaps they might love the tactile cues during the movement practice, but want to be left alone in relaxation. Or maybe the other way around, the whole time or not at all. Some students might feel they wish to be left alone, but then decide that sacrum massage looked really good!
